Ebb N' Flow is comprised of four college friends brought together by a mutual love of sweet a cappella harmonies. Formed in the summer of 2009, they did not waste time competing, taking home 3rd place at the Fall 2010 Pioneer District Quartet Contest. Ebb N' Flow represented the Pioneer District in Kansas City, MO at the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Collegiate Quartet Contest in July 2011 and went on to win the Pioneer District Championship in October 2011. Despite busy schedules as students and performers, their scores in the Spring 2012 district contest earned them the right to represent the Pioneer District in the collegiate and open adult International contests in Portland, OR, becoming the first representative quartet in Pioneer District history to sing in both contests, and earning the highest Spring preliminary score since PowerPlay in 2003. After a tenth place finish in the 2012 College Contest in Portland, Ebb N' Flow released an album and officially earned alumni status at Central Michigan University. In 2013 they were one of three quartets that qualified to represent the Pioneer District at the International Convention in Toronto. |
