Station Break got together late in 2017 and decided their sound was worth cultivating. Leading the way was TC (Tom) Connor with two district open quartet titles, three district senior titles, and an international senior gold medal. Steve Warnaar had two district open titles and a district senior title plus, he sang with TC Conner in Resisting-A-Rest when they won the International Senior Gold Medal in 2008. For Mike Hansen and Randy MacLaren, this would be their first medal although Mike sang with the mixed quartet "Sidekicks" which won the Buckeye Invitational. Station Break first competed in the fall of 2018 and got a wild card to the 2019 International Senior Competition in Nashville where they came in 15th. They competed again in the spring of 2019 and won the Pioneer District Senior Quartet title.
